Civilian Service Rifle Imperial Meeting 2024

Wednesday 3rd - Saturday 7th July

The pinnacle of the Civilian Service Rifle shooting year are the Imperial matches. Competitions take place from 25-500x testing every aspect of a competitors’ skill

Programme & Fees: 

  • Wednesday 3rd July: CSR Imperial Match (All Day): £45
  • Thursday 4th July: CSR 100/200/300 Yard Matches (AM), CSR Long Range Rural Match (PM): £25 each
  • Friday 5th July: CSR Short Range Match (All Day), CSR Urban Match (All Day):£25 each
  • Saturday 6th July: CSR Rural Match (0830-1430) £41

Under 25 Discounts: 40% discount off entry fee for those that are under 25 years old on the day of the Event

Classes:

  • Historic: Any SMLE/ No.4/ No. 5 rifle, service pattern as issued, with no attachments
  • Iron: Any rifle with iron sights, with no restriction on slings (but rests may not be used)
  • Service Optic: Any rifle with optic sights with no restriction on slings. Rests may not be used. (Any vertical or angled fore grip, if fitted, may be used)
  • Practical Optic: Any rifle with optic sights, with no restriction on slings or rests. Bipods must remain in the folded or retracted state at the start of a stage and may only be deployed when on the firing point and moving into the final firing position. A bipod must remain fitted to the firearm for the duration of the Stage or Practice

Classifications: Each match in the Imperial Programme has its own Classification boundaries (see CSR Handbook). Within each firearm class shooters will be divided into classification groups based on the highest score they achieved in the three years prior to the current Meeting. New shooters to the CSR Imperial will be placed in the lowest class

🏆🏅Awards: Medals are awarded to the top scoring competitors for each match, in each class, subject to the amount of entries:

  • 2+ entries: Gold Medal
  • 6+ entries: Gold and Silver Medal
  • 11+ entries: Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal

🍔CSR BBQ & Prizegiving: Join us at Council Club following the complietion of competitions on Saturday 6th July, for Prizegiving and private BBQ. The Bar will be open from 6pm, with BBQ served at 6.30pm, and prizegiving starting shortly after. The Prizegiving is FREE to attend, but if you wish to purchase a BBQ tickets these are priced at £14.50 to include: a Burger, Chicken piece, Sausage, Coleslaw, Potato Salad and Mixed Leaf Salad. Please state any dietary requirements when booking
