Serving members of the Armed Forces, Cadets, and Police with a professional range qualification can convert their existing credentials to the NRA Range Conducting Officer (RCO) qualification. This certification authorises them to act as Range Officers for civilian shoots on Ministry of Defence (MoD) ranges.
To qualify for the conversion, you must meet the following criteria:

- Currently serving or have left service within the past 12 months (proof required).

Relevant Qualifications (proof required):
- Military: SA (B) 90 or equivalent.
- Cadets: Long Range qualification.
- Police: Firearms Instructor qualification.

Hold the NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) Qualification - Authorises Range Officers to RO civilian shoots on civilian ranges.

- If you are enrolled in an upcoming NRA RSO course, you can begin the conversion process. Your RCO qualification will be issued upon successful completion of the RSO course.
