This Gallery Rifle National Open Championship is open to any competitor who has the appropriate SCC for the matches they are looking to enter

COVID-19 Notice: If you are feeling unwell or have Covid-19 symptoms, please do not visit the National Shooting Centre (NSC), no matter how mild the symptoms. The NSC has put in place Covid-secure procedures throughout the camp. Please adhere to the various notices and instructions. We respectfully ask that you maintain social distancing at all times, and practice regular hand washing throughout your time on site.

Home Countries National Match: The GRCF and GRSB HCNM will be shot shoulder to shoulder on Saturday 4th September, with concurrent LBP and LBR matches being contested across the weekend. The team nomination form is available to download here. Please submit your teams soonest, ensuring that all individuals have entered the approriate matches. Entry deadline: Submit to mark.haigh@nra.org.uk by midday on Thursday 12th August.

Range Crew: Without dedicated volunteers this and many other competitions would not be able to field the amount of competitors wanting to take part. You can help out for as little as half a day, or if you fancy it – the whole weekend! Range Crew typically take on the following roles:

  • Chief Range Officer: 1 per range, qualified NRA RSO or RCO, in charge of overall range safety and issues range commands
  • Range Crew: On the range helping to reface targets, set timers and clear rifles - no formal range qualification necessary
  • Stats: Input all scorecards and produce prize lists
  • Markers
