*Please note that magnum, armour piercing, high velocity, jacketed or plated rounds are not permitted on steel plate targets
(B) Benched Competitions: These competitions will follow the exact courses of fire as their standing counter parts, however competitors will fire from a seated position using a bench or table. The fore-end of the rifle is supported by a bipod or rest. The butt of the rifle must be in the shoulder and may not rest on the bench or be supported by a rest.

🏅Awards: Medals are awarded to the top scoring competitors for each match subject to the amount of entries:
- 2+ entries: Gold Medal
- 6+ entries: Gold and Silver Medal
- 11+ entries: Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal
Where a match is 'Classified' the results are split so your scores are listed against others in the same class. Classified events have classifications detailed at the end of their listing in the GR&P Handbook (View online copy HERE)
National Champion: By entering the following events (marked with a ⭐ on the entry form) in any one gun type you will be automatically entered for the Championship. Within each National Championship aggregate, the top Lady and Under 25 shooter will receive an award.
- National Champion GRSB; 50m Precision, T&P1, Multi-Target, 1500
- National Champion GRCF: 50m Precision, T&P1, Multi-Target, 1500
- National Champion GRCF Classic: 50m Precision, T&P1, Multi-Target, 1500
- National Champion LBP: 50m Precision, T&P1*, Multi-Target*, 1500*
- National Champion LBR: 50m Precision, T&P1*, Multi-Target*, 1500*
- National Champion TS: T&P1, Multi-Target – in both SGM and SGSA
Range Team: Without dedicated volunteers this and may other competitions would not be able to field the amount of competitors wanting to take part. You can help out for as little as half a day, or if you fancy it – the whole weekend! Range Crew typically take on the following roles:
- Chief Range Officer: 1 per range, in charge of overall range safety, issues the range commands
- Range Team: Supports the running of the range by refacing targets, clear rifles, working the control box etc.
- Stats: Input all scorecards and produce prizelists
- Event Makers: Assist the Competitions team across all ranges with jobs including providing ranges with tea and coffee, distributing Range Team meals, setting up for prizegivings, assisting with queries on the range

Home Countries National Match:
GRSB & GRCF: HCNM will take place in the morning of Sunday 3rd September
- Teams shall comprise of a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 10 individual competitors (5 per GRSB and GRCF) with best 4 scores to count
- Any derogation below 8 individual shooters will be at the discretion of the Meeting Director and in agreement with all team captains. The team score in this instance may not be counted towards the overall aggregate
- T&P 1 and M-T to be shot shoulder-to-shoulder
- Scores made in the HCNM will not count concurrently for individual scores
- Results will be formed from the combined scores in both matches from the top scoring 4 shooters in each class
LBP & LBR: Concurrently Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd September
- Teams shall comprise of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 5 individual competitors (5 per LBP and LBR) with best 4 scores to count
- LBP and LBR Teams may comprise of the same competitors .
- Scores will count concurrently with individual scores. All competitors must have entered T&P1 and M-T individually.
- Results will be formed from the top scoring 4 shooters in each class, with separate listings for LBP and LBR
