ABOUT THE COURSE
The aim of the Fullbore Club Day is to introduce you to the procedures and protocols that are required for a safe and enjoyable day shooting Fullbore rifles at Bisley as an individual or a member of a Club. There will be no classroom work.
The day will allow you to practise what you learned in Modules 1 to 4 while still under the guidance of NRA Instructors. You will be encouraged to discuss any aspect of the previous Modules to reinforce learning.
This module will cover topics such as:
- Range arrival and procedures, range awareness
- Pre-shooting checks, zeroing
- Responsibilities and etiquette as a single shooter, changing around of club shooters
- Leaving the range at the end of a session, final safety checks, informing the Range Office
…and lots of shooting!
This is a full day course from 0830 - 1630.
Joining instructions with info on timings and location will be sent out around 2 weeks before the course date.
BEFORE APPLYING, PLEASE NOTE:
If you are unable to shoot from a prone position, then a bench will be provided. You must let us know in advance if this is required.
This course involves spending time outdoors on the ranges, even if it's raining, and not all ranges are under cover. Please make sure to dress appropriately for the weather and temperature. Sturdy, full coverage footwear is recommended.

COURSE CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you need to cancel/ rebook:
Cancellation/re-booking less than 5 working days before the course will incur a £20 cancellation charge.
If the NRA needs to cancel a course:
All courses hold the possibility of being cancelled if they do not reach the minimum number of attendees. If this happens, we will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible. You will be given the option to transfer over to a new date, or to receive a full refund for the course.
Please note, any non-refundable accommodation booked by you is done so at your own risk. The cost of this will not be reimbursed by the NRA should a course need to be cancelled.
