Civilian Service Rifle Imperial Meeting 2022
Wednesday 29th June - Saturday 2nd July
The pinnacle of the Civilian Service Rifle shooting year are the Imperial matches. Competitions take place from 25-500x testing every aspect of a competitors’ skill
Classes:
- Historic: Any SMLE/ No.4/ No. 5 rifle, service pattern as issued, with no attachments
- Iron: Any rifle with iron sights, with no restriction on slings (but rests may not be used)
- Service Optic: Any rifle with optic sights with no restriction on slings. Rests may not be used. (Any vertical or angled fore grip, if fitted, may be used)
- Practical Optic: Any rifle with optic sights, with no restriction on slings or rests. If any rest is utilised it must remain fitted to the rifle at all times during the match
Shooting Programme:
- Wednesday 29th June: CSR Imperial Match (All Day)
- Thursday 30th June: CSR 100/200/300 Yard Matches (AM), CSR Long Range Match (PM)
- Friday 1st July: CSR Short Range Match (All Day), CSR Urban Match (All Day)
- Saturday 2nd July: CSR Rural Match (0830-1430), CSR Falling Plates (1500-1800)
- Sunday 3rd July: Methuen Team Match

🏆🏅Awards: Medals are awarded to the top scoring competitors for each match, in each class, subject to the amount of entries:
- 2+ entries: Gold Medal
- 6+ entries: Gold and Silver Medal
- 11+ entries: Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal
