NRA/ARA Adaptive Championships 2025
Thursday 19th June
Entry Requirement:
- The Championship is open to any injured Serving or Veteran Service personnel from British or Overseas Forces
- Competitors do not need to be members of the NRA or affiliated clubs, but are required to sign a section 21 declaration prior to shooting stating they are eligible to be in possession of a firearm and ammunition (see Terms of Entry below)
Entry Fee: The event is FREE to enter thanks to our generous sponsors, however you must pre-register for the event. Drinks, snacks and a buffet lunch are also included. Competitors will have use of .22 Ruger Gallery Rifles, which benefit from minimal recoil
NEW 2025 Programme: Four competitions run simultaneously, with the best three scores to count towards the Championship total:
- Advancing Target: A rapid-fire match, with targets advancing from 25m
- Snaps & Rapid: A 2 stage 50m shoot with timed turning targets
- Precision: A 10 shot precision match at 25m
- Mini McQueen: A sniper-style match, shot at 50m, of 10x 3 sec exposures at irregular intervals from a Mini McQueen Castle, using a scoped .22 RF Rifle
Muzzle Loading Experience: In addition to the competitions, there will be an opportunity for competitors to fire Muzzle Loading firearms
Programme:
0830-0915: Arrival & registration
0915-0920: Range Safety Briefing
0920-0945: Zero and Practice Period
0945-1300: Competition Period
1330-1400: Prize Giving
🏆🏅Awards: NRA Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals are awarded to the Serving and Veteran winners of each Match, and the overall Championship on the range at approximately 1330 hrs
