Youth Imperial Meeting 2026

Saturday 11th July: A four part multi-discipline experience day for young shooters to expand their shooting knowledge
Attendees will rotate through 4 different Ranges at the National Shooting Centre, experiencing and learning shooting techniques in; Clay Targets, Gallery Rifle, Sporter Air Rifle and Target Rifle. At each Range, entrants will receive coaching and instruction by members of the shooting communities
Entry Requirements: - Age: You must be aged 14-24 on the day of the event. Please contact youth@nra.org.uk if you are under 14 and still interested in the event
- Eligability: This event is open to NRA Members, shooters from other Home Office Approved Clubs, and individuals from other organisations with prior shooting experience
- NRA Membership: Any entrant who is not an NRA Member will have to pay the Non-Member Fee of £17 (which coveres the whole of the Youth Imperial Meeting if applicable)

Sunday 12th July: A morning of beginner-friendly competitions (09:00-12:00)
Attendees can register for the following Competitions:
- Sporter Air Rifle: 10m 40 shot match
- Gallery Rifle Match: Comprising of a 25m Precision & Multi-Target match in Gallery Rifle Smallbore (GRSB)
- Clay Targets: 25 shot Sportrap competition - hosted on Jubilee Copse
- Target Rifle: 2+10 at 300 yards. Entry includes issued 147gr ammunition
Issued Entries: Included issued NRA firearms and ammunition

- Membership: This event is open to NRA Members. Shooters from other Home Office Approved Clubs are welcome to enter, but are required to pay the Non-Member Fee

- Gallery Rifle: Gallery Rifle / Carbine
- Target Rifle: Iron sighted rifle

Awards & Prizegiving:
Prizegiving will take place on Sunday afternoon, with awards presented to the top placing shooters in each event, with additional awards for the highest scoring U16, U19 and U25.
