Match Rifle Imperial Meeting 2026

Friday 10th - Thursday 16th July

Individual Programme:

🎯 Friday: Any Rifle Extras £35 per distance

🎯 Saturday: Whitehead £75, Halford £75

🎯 Sunday: Cottesloe £50, Wimbledon £50, Armourers £50

🎯 Monday: Edge £80, Ranken £35

🎯 Tuesday: Albert £115, Ranken £35

🎯 Thursday: Any Rifle 1200x £40

Under 25 Discount: A discount off entry fee for those that are under 25 years old on the day of the Event

Hopton Aggregate: Comprises of Whitehead, Halford, Cottesloe, Wimbledon, Armourers, Edge and Albert, and is FREE to enter. Entry is automatic when booking all 7 events (Block F on the entry form)

Maxwell Aggregate: FREE. Awarded to the competitors whose scores in the Hopton (MR) and Grand Aggregate (TR) make up the highest aggregates

Peter-Hoblyn Aggregate: FREE. Awarded to the competitors aged under 25 whose scores in the Hopton (MR) and Grand Aggregate (TR) make up the highest aggregates

Aggregates: £1 per aggregate. Further aggregates of different combinations of Hopton Aggregate events are available to book. These can be booked individually or collectively by selecting Block G on the entry form

Classes:

  • Class T: Individuals who have never appeared in the top 20 of the Hopton, or in the top 10 in any other individual MR competition, and who has never been a Class TR Class X
  • Class O: Those who are not Class T

Entry Requirements:

  • Experience: This competition welcomes novice and seasoned Match Rifle shooters
  • Membership: This competition is open to NRA Members. Shooters from other Home Office Approved Clubs are welcome but are required to pay the Non-Member Fee
  • Shooter Certification Card (SCC): Telescopic Rifle. If not in possession of an SCC, shooters may apply for a temporary SCC by emailing competitions@nra.org.uk
  • Age: On the first day of the Competition you must be aged 14 or over - please contact the Competitions Team before entering if this is not the case

🏆🏅Awards: Each event has specific awards, which are detailed in the NRA Handbook (Competitions section).

Prizegiving: Trophies and Gold medals are presented at the Match Rifle Prizegiving that will take place after the completion of the Elcho match on Wednesday 15th July
