The Imperial Historic Arms Meeting (IHAM) is shot entirely in the Spirit of the Original with historic firearms and equipment appropriate to the period. IHAM offers a great opportunity to experience Classic & Historic arms in action, and works towards maintaining their legacy

Entry Requirements:

  • Experience: This competition welcomes novice and seasoned shooters
  • Membership: This competition is open to NRA Members. Shooters from other Home Office Approved Clubs are welcome but are required to pay the Non-Member Fee
  • Shooter Certification Card (SCC): If not in possession of an SCC, shooters may apply for a temporary SCC by emailing competitions@nra.org.uk
  • Age: On the first day of the Competition you must be aged 14 or over - please contact the Competitions Team before entering if this is not the cas

Overseas Competitors: Those wishing to take part from overseas countries need to apply for a Visitor's Firearm Permit - CLICK HERE for details

Entry Fees: Details to be confirmed

Discounts: Off entry fees only. Multi-competition discounts are only applicable to entries made before the deadline

  • 10% Off Entry Fees: when you enter 6 or more competitions
  • 15% Off Entry Fees: when you enter 12 or more competitions
  • 40% Off Entry Fees: for those that are under 25 years old on the last day of the Event

🏅Awards: Medals are awarded to the top scoring competitors for each Competition, subject to the amount of entries. Trophies and Medals will be available for collection between 1500 - 1600 on Sunday 12th July. Any uncollected medals will be posted out after the Meeting, along with any awards and Skilled Shot Certificates

First place: when an event is contested by 2 or more individuals, will receive an NRA Silver Shoulder medal, a Gold Imperial Historic Bar & a certificate. Trophies are awarded in certain matches, indicated by the 🏆 symbol on the entry form. Trophies are only presented when an event is contested by two or more individuals

Second place: when an event has 6 or more results, will receive a prize certificate

Third place: when an event has 11 or more results, will receive a prize certificate

All Competitors may also purchase Skilled Shot Certificates after the Meeting if they achieve a certain score (see individual match details for more information). Skilled Shot Certificates cost £1.50 each

Saturday-Sunday: Most ranges require 1x CRO and 2x Range Team
