300m Championship 2026
Monday 20th - Tuesday 21st July
During the two day Championships competitors take part in the , with those in the ISSF Free Rifle class contesting for the title of British Champion 2024
Shooting Times:
🎯 Sunday: 5-7pm: Practice Sessions

🎯 Tuesday: Competition Sessions
Courses of Fire: 300m Match (60 shots in 60 minutes), please see the NRA Handbook for full details
- In all events ISSF clothing rules will apply, except for NRA TR Rifles - View ISSF Rules HERE
- All ISSF events qualify for British Records
- Ammunition: Maximum calibre 8mm but subject to Range Safety Rules
Rifle Classes:
- ISSF Free Rifles: Maximum weight of 8kg, no trigger weight limitation other than being safe
- Standard Rifle: Maximum weight of 5.5kg, minimum trigger weight of 1.5kg
- NRA Target Rifle: As per paragraph 150 of the NRA Handbook: Maximum weight 6.5kg, minimum trigger weight of 1.5kg
Entry Requirements:
- Experience: This competition welcomes novice and seasoned shooters
- Membership: This competition is open to NRA Members. Shooters from other Home Office Approved Clubs are welcome but are required to pay the Non-Member Fee
- Shooter Certification Card (SCC): If not in possession of an SCC, shooters may apply for a temporary SCC by emailing competitions@nra.org.uk
- Age: On the first day of the Competition you must be aged 14 or over - please contact the Competitions Team before entering if this is not the case
Overseas Competitors: Those wishing to take part from overseas countries need to apply for a Visitor's Firearm Permit - CLICK HERE for details

Under 25 Discount: A discount off entry fee for those that are under 25 years old on the day of the Event
🏅Awards & Prizegiving: Medals are awarded to the top scoring competitors for each match, in each class, subject to the amount of entries. In addition there are specific trophies for certain events - please see the NRA Handbook for full details. Trophies and Gold medals are presented at the Main Imperial Prizegiving on Saturday 25th July after the completion of the King's Final match

- 6+ entries: Gold and Silver Medal
- 11+ entries: Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal
