NRA Service Rifle Championship 2024

Friday 14th June or Concurrent to DefOSC Competitions

The Championships consists of numerous matches, that take place either at the National Shooting Centre, or concurrently with DefOSC matches taking place in June (please see details below)

The NRA Service Rifle Championship is comprised of the Short Range and Long Range Rural Contact Assessment. Units can register to shoot on Bisley Ranges on Friday 14th June, or take part concurrently.

Thanks to generous sponsorship all entries to these events are FREE - but must be pre-registered

Competition Programme: 

If taking part in any of the following matches during DefOSC, you can submit scores via this SPREADSHEET for free by emailing by Monday 24th June at 8am to be entered into NRA Competitions concurrent with the following DefOSC competitions:

If wishing to shoot the SR Championships on Friday 14th June, please download the Entry Form (below) and Nominal Roll spreadsheet (HERE) and return via email to by 12:00 midday Thursday 13th June

AM: Short Range Rural Contact Assessment

  • Kinnaird (P1)
  • Standing (P3)
  • Stephens (P2)
  • Sitting (P4)
  • Wantage (P5)

PM: Long Range Rural Contact Assessment

  • Queen Mary

Match Conditions: Full match conditions for all Service Weapon matches, both individual and team, can be found in the NRA Handbook (Bisley Bible) available in person and online. One copy will be given to each team captain at registration

🏆🏅Awards: Interim Prize Lists for all NRA events will be published by NRA stats online. Medals, bars and cash prizes will be posted after the Meeting to the unit address provided upon entry
