40th Inter-Counties: R Jarvis Match

Saturday 8th June (08.30am-12.30pm)

The R Jarvis Match is open to any full member of the NRA or a member of an affiliated county shooting in the Meeting

 NEW for 2024 - All entries to the R Jarvis Individual Competitions must be made by the individual shooter via this web page

Competition Programme: Morning Session: 08:30-12:30

Course of Fire: 2 convertible sighting shots and 7 to count at 300x, 500x & 600x

Entry requirements:

  • Shooter Certification Card (SCC): Each civilian shooting on a MoD or NRA range has to carry a SCC issued by the chairman of a club of which they are a member and which is affiliated to the NRA. Competitors MUST be in possession of their SCC when shooting on NRA ranges. Competitors MUST be in possession of an SCC for Telescope Rifle. If you do not have an SCC please contact the Competition Co-ordinator before
    • Overseas or competitors from non-Home Office Approved Clubs (HOACs) can apply to the NRA/Match Director via who may grant a temporary SCC. Proof of range safety will be required
  • This competition is open to members of the County Team, NRA members, or members of an affiliated County taking part in the Meeting. Non-NRA members are required to pay the Meeting Member Fee
  • On the first day of the Competition you must be aged 14 or over (please contact the Competition Co-ordinator before entering if this is not the case)


  • First: R Jarvis Trophy and NRA Gold Medal
  • Second: NRA Silver Medal
  • Third: NRA Bronze Medal
  • Under 25: U25 Silver Salver
  • Under 23: U23 Silver Salver
