What is the E-League?:

The E-League is a modernised postal league that offers shooters from across the UK the opportunity to engage in competitive shooting. The competitions that make up the League are designed to be complementary to practice/club sessions, or aid the individual in working towards entering club or NRA competitions in the future

The 2022/23 Season will run from 1st September 2022 – 31st August 2023

Each Season is made up of 4 Rounds

  • Autumn: 1st September – 30th November
  • Winter: 1st December – 28th February
  • Spring: 1st March – 31st May
  • Summer: 1st June – 31st August

Each Round is made up of 2 or 3 Competitions

Competitions will be based on paired down versions of NRA Courses of Fire, using mainstream target faces, at distances that cater for most clubs

How does it work?:

  • Competitions: The Competitions will be published ahead of entries opening, so you can start practicing
  • Scorecard: As soon as entries open the scorecards will become available for you to download for FREE
  • Shoot: You can take part in the Competitions at your own Club at any point in the three month window - you will need a witness to sign the scorecard
  • Submit: If you want to be on our online leaderboard simply log into the online booking system before the deadline, and submit you entry (£1 per Competition) along with a picture of your scorecard(s) (by emailing competitions@nra.org.uk)

Classes:

  • Gallery Rifle Smallbore (GRSB): Any Gallery Rifle in .22” rimfire may be used. The standard for GRSB is a selfloading rifle with a detachable magazine. Other designs are permitted
  • Gallery Rifle Centrefire (GRCF): A lever action rifle with an integral tube magazine
  • Gallery Rifle Centrefire Classic (GRCF Classic): Any Gallery Rifle which complies with the Classics Discipline eligibility  of the ‘Spirit of the Original’. This means no contemporary telescopic sights, no high visibility red / green foresight elements, no dropped butt plates, no raised cheekpieces and no fore end hand hold / palm rest addons or similar. The onus is on the shooter to prove that any modification to a standard is ‘in the spirit of the original’ e.g. by reference to a publication or catalogue of the period
  • Gallery Rifle Smallbore Benchrest (GRSB Benchrest): As per GRSB but competitors fire from a seated position using a bench or table. The fore-end of the rifle is supported by a bipod or rest. The butt of the rifle must be in the shoulder and may not rest on the bench or be supported by a rest
  • Long Barrelled Pistol (LBP): This category covers all .22” rimfire Long Barrelled Pistols. It includes revolvers and self-loading guns. It also includes single-shot pistols, though these are only likely to be practical in the precision events (numbers 01 and 03 – see Section C).
  • Long Barrelled Rifle (LBR): Any Long Barrelled Revolver in a centrefire pistol calibre may be used in this category.

Please see the GR&P handbook for full definitions
