The NRA offers a multitude of training courses including Probationary Training, discipline specific Skills Development, Range Officer Qualifications and a collection of specialised courses.

To become a full member of the NRA you are required to complete our Probationary Training Programme if you are either new to shooting and are not a member of a Home Office Approved Club, or have been out of the Armed Forces for more than 5 years. Please wait for membership confirmation before booking any training.
This course focuses on knowledge and safety, featuring both theoretical and practical elements.
Skills Development Courses are aimed at new and existing Shooters wishing to gain skills, knowledge and experience in a particular discipline, and those looking to take part in competitive shooting
To assess the knowledge, skills and approach of an individual who wishes to become a full member of the NRA and qualify for a Shooter Certification Card.
Entry is by invitation from the Membership Department only.
Once completed, these courses will provide you with qualifications including Range Safety Officer, Range Conducting Officer, MLAGB Range Officer and Club Instructor.

Certification Assessments are offered to NRA members who need to renew their Safety Certification Card by undertaking a re-assessment with an NRA instructor. NRA members will be given a 4-year SCC upon successful completion.

Whether you are interested in shooting accurately over longer distances, zeroing a new rifle or just a general refresher of skills after a long period of not shooting, a one to one training session can help you with this.
