ABOUT THE COURSE
The Club Instructor course covers the following:
- To provide suitably experienced club members with the necessary skills to deliver the NRA Probationary Training syllabus at the highest standard for members in your club
- To carry out assessments for your club for the issue of SCC’s
- To adhere to the high standards laid out by the NRA’s Safe Shooting System
.
Students can expect a busy two days. There is much to absorb in a relatively short time, and participation and discussion are encouraged throughout the course.
The course is loosely structured around the NRA Probationary Course syllabus, but seen from the instructor’s point of view. It is deliberately not based on any shooting discipline, but is wide ranging in approach, starting by concentrating on the elements of safety which are common to all types of shooting.
