Cottesloe Heath Challenge 2024

Friday 16th - Sunday 18th August

Competition Programme: This event is a full day match with 8/9 stages of which some can only be shot with solid slug, staged in the iconic Cottesloe Heath at the National Shooting Centre - Bisley

Entry includes the chance to take part in a minimum of 8 stages over a full day of shooting, and is suitable for both seasoned and novice shooters. Some stages require the use of slug ammunition to be used, so depending on your FAC this may limit how many stages you can take part in. Various target will be used including resetting steel (solid slug only) and a multi-bird flurry stage.

All stages are constructed in the days prior to the competition so exact courses of fire cannot be given. We recommended that you bring approximately 100 rounds of birdshot (max size UK No. 4), and 40 solid slug. Only Fibre wad ammunition is permitted

Classes: Entries are accepted in following three categories of shotgun:

  • Standard: Any Semi-Auto Action Shotgun with a fixed magazine, iron sights only
  • Standard Manual: Any Manual Action Shotgun with a fixed magazine, iron sights only
  • Open: Any Shotgun

Team Competition: To be confirmed: In 2023: Four shooters per team, with the best 3 scores to count. Team scores are derived from concurrent individual scores. Team nominations must be submitted to stats prior to the start of shooting
